S – Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well.

O – Commentary:

Paul paid them great praise, calling them my fellow workers in Christ Jesus and revealing that they risked their lives for me (lit., "they lay down their own neck for my soul"). In what way they risked their lives is not known. All the Gentile churches, Paul added, were grateful to them.

A – Everybody needs a Prisca and Aquila. People who don't just cheer you on — they'd take a hit for you. That circle is small. It's supposed to be small. But small doesn't mean optional. You weren't built to do life solo, and you definitely weren't built to lead solo. Your closest relationships don't just shape you — they ripple out. They strengthen the whole body. So don't just have people in your life. Cultivate them. Invest in them. And say thank you while you still can.

R – Heavenly Father, You are Lord of all. Thank You for the people You've placed in our inner circle — the ones who'd risk their necks for us. Those relationships aren't accidents; they're gifts. Teach us to go deeper with them, not just wider. And make us grateful, not just for a season, but for a lifetime.
