Bible Study - Luke 16
S - One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. Luke 16:10 ESV
O - Commentary: If one is faithful in his use of money, then he can be trusted with greater things. True riches (v. 11) seem to refer to the kingdom’s spiritual riches of which the disciples will partake.
John A. Martin, [“Luke,”](https://ref.ly/logosres/bkc?ref=Bible.Lk16.8b-13&off=1299&ctx=is+in+verses+10%E2%80%9312.+~If+one+is+faithful+i) in The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures, ed. J. F. Walvoord and R. B. Zuck, vol. 2 (Wheaton, IL: Victor Books, 1985), 246.
A - The parable and explanation that Jesus shares strikes at the management and love of money. He applies a universal principle of responsibility. You don't just fall into being responsible. You build it by daily cultivating good integrity and character in this area and following intentional discipline. This approach could be applied to many things we want to grow in our lives. When we remain faithful with what we have, we will receive more.
R - Heavenly Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Thank You for giving us what we have today. You always provide what we need for today. Empower us to steward these resources faithfully, intentionally, with character and integrity. We want to honor You today!
