Bible Study - Acts 23

S - The following night the Lord stood by him and said, "Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome."

O - Commentary:
The importance of this vision was not only in its comfort and encouragement (cf. 18:9–10) but also in the confirmation it gave of Paul's plans to go to Rome. The gospel of Christ would literally go from Jerusalem to Rome by means of the Apostle Paul. This was the fourth vision the Lord gave Paul (cf. 9:4–6; 16:9; 18:9–10).

A- God has a plan. Watch it unfold here with Paul — step by step, all pointing toward the goal. Does that make the road easier? No. But it makes sense.

God has a plan for you too. Same deal. It won't be easy. But He drops markers along the way — confirmations, nudges, open doors — to keep you moving.

Look back one day, and you'll see it. His perfect will. His perfect purpose. All along.

R - Heavenly Father, You know it all. Thank You for loving us enough to have a plan — a purpose for every step we take. Tune our ears to Your Spirit. Show us the direction. Show us the path. Empower us to follow You today.
